Barbour x Baracuta: A British Icon Returns
British heritage brands Barbour and Baracuta reunite for their third collaboration, launching for Autumn/Winter ‘25. Building on the success of previous seasons, the collection expands into a broader range of outerwear, apparel, and accessories that balance versatility with timeless practicality.
Inspired by the Northern Soul movement, the campaign—captured by legendary photographer Normski and featuring artist Goya Gumbani—celebrates the ongoing dialogue between British style and music culture.
At our store and on our website www.sublime.bz, you’ll find the Barbour x Baracuta Porton Showerproof Jacket, the Baracuta x Barbour Wax Trench Coat, and the Barbour x Baracuta Porton Wax Jacket.
Available in-store and online from November 4th, 2025.
Shot by legendary photographer Normski at Jumbi, Peckham, the campaign captures the energy and authenticity of Britain’s music and street culture. Both Normski and Goya Gumbani feature in the visuals, embodying the deep connection between fashion, music, and creative heritage.
Founded in South Shields (Barbour, 1894) and Manchester (Baracuta, 1937), the two Northern icons have long been embraced by British subcultures—from Wigan Casino’s Northern Soul dancers to The Who and Small Faces. This season celebrates that legacy through new iterations of classic outerwear, Northern Soul–inspired tees, and accessories such as tote bags and caps adorned with signature patches.
As Barbour’s Menswear Director Ian Bergin notes, the collaboration “brings together two brands united by heritage, craftsmanship and Northern spirit.” Baracuta adds, “It bridges generations, capturing the essence of Northern Soul while translating it into a modern expression of identity and belonging.”
