Come Scegliere la Taglia Giusta – Scarpe da Uomo
Finding the Right Size – Men’s Shoes
1. How to Choose Your Size
Red Wing shoes generally run large and require a break-in period. Most customers find they need a size 0.5–1 smaller than usual, depending on foot width and instep height.
During the break-in period (about 2–3 weeks), the leather will stretch and adapt to your feet, creating a custom fit.
Tip: If you use orthopedic insoles, choose your usual size, as the insole will reduce the natural stretching of the footbed.
2. How to Use Our Size Chart (You can find the Size Chart in the images.)
Measure both feet from the heel to the tip of your longest toe (sometimes it’s the middle toe).
Use the longer measurement and match it directly to the cm size in our chart — extra space for toe movement is already included in the sizing.
3. How Should a New Red Wing Shoe Feel?
When new, the shoe should feel snug on the sides, but not painfully tight.
Your toes should not touch the front – there should be about a finger’s width of space.
The small toe should not be pressed in.
A little heel slip is completely normal at first and will disappear as the shoe softens and molds to your foot.
The shoe will become wider and more flexible, but the length will not change.
