In 2016, Retrosuperfuture and the Andy Warhol Foundation introduced a modern interpretation of one of Andy’s most-worn everyday eyewear shapes. It was named, THE WARHOL.
 
The Warhol wasn’t designed to be eccentric or flamboyant. It was what Andy Warhol wore on a daily basis for a long part of his adult life: understated, functional, and quietly charismatic.
And from the moment it launched, it became an instant classic.
A shape that carried its character effortlessly through the years, proving itself a true icon.

To celebrate this milestone, we developed a limited set of new colors and a premium sunlens metal clip-on to complete the silhouette.

Designed as a tribute to the iconic pop-artist, The Warhol is an essential silhouette marked by rounded lenses and sharp, angular temple tips. A lightweight acetate construction and marked nose-bridge, make this a unisex and timeless everyday shape. This version of The Warhol comes with a warm Havana acetate and bottle green lenses.

The box contains a semi-hard case and a cleaning cloth.
